an AMAZING JOB at our wedding! My husband and
I are truly happy the way our wedding turned out. Our vision was
executed beyond what we had imagined.
All of my guest were amazed how everything ran smoothly as well as
myself. The day of my
wedding day I was completely relaxed and let them run the show. They
even took a few pictures of
myself that no one would even think of taking for example my back
shot as i'm entering the doors of
the church with my Father. The pictured turned out amazing and little
did they know that moment was
one that had kept running through my head for a whole year......the
church doors open and the guest
turn to look at the stunning bride.
If
you want to be relaxed and enjoy your big day as much as possible, my
husband and I highly recommend
A Classic
Celebration.

met Charisse
and Cristina
just a couple
of weeks before our big day. They were referred to us by our
photographer, Chelly Cruz. We truly do not know how we would have
pulled off all the last minute
details if it weren't for these ladies. They did an AMAZING job at
our wedding and my husband
and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Everything
went off without a hitch.
We
have absolutely no complaints. They were our "day of"
coordinators and really kept us on track from
the moment we met them. They are very kind, professional, and VERY
detail oriented(they don't miss a thing). You can 100% trust these
women to make your day perfect! They kept telling us they would
take care of everything so much that we would not have to turn on our
cell phone the day of the wedding
and boy were they right! I highly recommend them and appreciate
everything they did for us.

Classic
Celebration is
made up of two classy wedding coordinators that simply put a bride
and groom’s
minds at ease. We definitely got a lot for our money. We signed up
for “day of” services, but I
can honestly say Charisse
and Cristina
were there
from the beginning of 10 months of planning.
They
answered questions every step of the way and were quick to
respond…which is essential for a bride
in planning mode!!! I even felt like I got better feedback from them
about things like bridesmaids
dresses when bm’s weren’t quick to respond.
They also helped
provide ideas on how to make
my wedding fun and unique, while sticking to my budget. For example,
they provided storyboards
based on my wedding color and theme. From their helpful, creative
minds, I got the ideas of
using paper lanterns for décor, plane “boarding passes” for our
Save the Dates (since we had a travel-themed
wedding), and I was able to purchase my wedding gown for $700
cheaper! I also found my
photographer (Chelly Cruz), my florist (M.J. Design LA) and our photo
booth company (FotoMatic)
through ACC. Most impressive is that they did all this from 400 miles
away! I live in the Bay
Area and our wedding was in Sonoma, but that didn’t weaken the
lines of communication.
We met
a couple times in Southern California when I would visit family, and
they made a special trip to see
the wedding site with me and my then fiancé. Email was key in this
relationship and I do miss the Skype
meetings with these ladies. They listened to our requests, and even
hired an assistant (Tiffany was
fantastic!) to accommodate all the guests in such a big venue!
We
never once doubted their abilities
or thought anyone else could coordinate our wedding the way ACC
could. Every time we met,
they amazed us with their detailed agendas…organization and seeing
progress in the midst of wedding
planning is the key to a bride’s heart! Even with all that
planning, I feel they were most helpful
the week of the wedding.
Charisse
and Cristina
went above and
beyond by helping with last minute errands (purchasing sponsor gifts
and assembling pom-poms among other tasks) and they did a
fabulous job at the rehearsal. After they met our families and the
wedding entourage, it helped put our
family’s mind at ease that we were in trustworthy hands. From that
point on, our wedding party knew
they could go to Charisse
or Cristina
with any
questions or concerns. ACC contacted our vendors
beforehand to make sure everything would run smoothly the “day of.”
Their professionalism and
positive attitudes helped to build a great rapport with our vendors –
all of whom were very impressed
with them! They provided everyone with a minute-by-minute timeline,
which allowed for smooth
transitions between areas (from the vineyard to the dining tent to
the barn where dancing was held).
It all went smoothly, even with the windy weather. And the entire
day, my husband and I felt like
we were in good hands and had nothing to stress out about. We were
able to truly enjoy our wedding…and
that, to me, is priceless!
I wasn’t surprised by anything on my
wedding day because it was
exactly how I had envisioned it…and that is the biggest compliment
I can give these girls… because
they made my dream wedding come true! It's now 8 months later and
guests are still talking about
how fun and unique our wedding was.

husband and I used A Classic
Celebration
for our "DAY OF" wedding coordinators and we could not
have been happier about the results! From the onset of planning,
Charisse and
Cristina were
very professional
and extrememly responsive. They were beyond helpful and paid
attention to all the little details
that I forgot about. They are a dynamic team and work well together.
They not only treated me as
a bride but as friend who truly cared about my wedding turning out
just the way I wanted.
I
am a very hands on person and have difficulty "letting go"
of things so to speak, but Charisse
and Cristina
gave me so
much confidence in thier abilities that I was able to enjoy the week
before my wedding
and just RELAX! They confirmed all my vendors and in turn my husband
and could not have
felt more at ease on our wedding day. We truly enjoyed our wedding
and had the best time and we owe it all to them! I highly recommend
this duo and continue to refer them to any newly engaged friends

BRIDE’S PAST EXPERIENCE: previous employment in banquets at a
prominent hotel chain &
the MANY MANY weddings attended, participated, coordinated, &
help plan in the past DID NOT prepare
me for my own big event. You see both my husband and I travel for
work & play. Originally from
Vancouver, Canada, working at the time in Orange County, California &
planning for our wedding
in New York City was a definite challenge!!! & we needed help
FAST!!
We
wanted to make this experience enjoyable NOT stressful. We needed
someone to essentially help us
from START to FINISH. & in search for a wedding
planner/coordinator, my husband and I were looking
for someone meticulous, approachable, dependable, experienced,
creative,& understanding & that
is when we found Charisse
to fill in
that void.
She
had made quite the impression our first encounter. She had a
approachable demeanor and understood
what was required within the terms of our wants, needs, & with $
budget in mind. Shortly after
meeting Charisse,
my husband and I moved back to New York. & although on opposite
coasts,
Charisse
was there:
weather it be the numerous # of phone calls, mast amounts of emails,
or the occasional
face to face meetings she was there to support us in every angle.
Including the trying times when
a girl or soon to be bride…me that is….needed a shoulder to cry
on….she was there.

Celebration
created our entire paper waredrobe from invitations, to menus, and
programs.
And
they were absolutely fabulous. The favors they made were unique &
adorable. She followed up with
vendors, took care of balances, orchestrated the mast amount of
individuals that needed direction,
and most of all dealt with “in law” situations with tact &
poise ……. The pre-wedding events
well thought out. & our wedding near perfection!!!!! & for
all of that and more I thank her. & on 08.08.08 my wedding
definitely turned out to be “A Classic
Celebration.”

Do

be very honest, I was labeled groomzilla by my wife immediately at the
start of our wedding planning. I am a man who cares about detail and
what goes on behind the scenes. Everything needs to match or have a
complimentary color. Details are a reflection of the person and the professional.
That's a monster of a man to deal with when you think you
only need to tie little ribbons on a box. Anyways, you get the picture...
On
my wedding day, I let everything go. Why? Because A Classic Celebration
made me and my wife feel completely at ease. During the planning
process, Cristina
and Charisse's
smiles, enduring warmness, and
reassurance, in addition to pure professionalism, really helped me stay
calm and focused. They were our choice because we knew, through their
diverse set of friends, that they would be sensitive to the needs
of our cultures. I am of Vietnamese descent and my wife, from Filipino.
We had over 400 guests at our two story reception. Of course,
we had family members and parents that made their special requests
and created a bit more stress. But Cristina
and Charisse
kept us
focused. Their delivery is more than
just the technical skills of planning an event. They're about the
valuable intangibles. Our wedding day will always be the happiest day
of my life. A large reason for that is the fact that A Classic Celebration
treated our wedding like their own. That allowed me focus on my
bride, the ceremony, and our rockin' reception.

Co exemplified professionalism, excellence, and sociability. They ARE
the picture
perfect bridesmaids; they will make it happen without a complaint.
On
our first meeting with Charisse
and Cristina,
they sat down with my husband and me to discuss our
wedding planning. They had their full attention on us and asked
detailed questions to understand how
we envisioned our wedding. They even asked us if there were certain
guests to be concerned about
and how situations can be handled. (If you are curious, my husband
caked his best man during his
wedding and the best man was seeking revenge!) They wanted to manage
our wedding with respect
to what we have discussed.
After
our wedding rehearsal, Charisse
and Cristine
told us (really me) to not be anxious about our wedding
and asked us to turn off our cell phones the morning of our wedding.
I truly felt comfortable in
handing over the responsibilities to CC & Co that I happily
turned off my phone and became a BRIDE.
With CC & Co, being a bride was the best experience ever. They
coordinated our wedding with
class that I truly felt like we were the luminaries and not the
hosts.

I
had been planning my wedding for over a year and a half and finally
got married last April 26,2008.
Everything
was perfect,it was everything I have imagined my "dream"
wedding would be, Thanks to CC&Co.I
did most of the planning and looking for vendors myself but I just
needed a coordinator for the
day itself to facilitate everything...CC&Co went way over and
beyond their call of duty for that day...It
felt to me like they had planned everything for me. We had 3 personal
meetings and thousands of
emails the past 4 months I've worked with them.They were very
thorough,organized and detail oriented.
With their constant reminders I remembered things I would have
probably missed.They were
very good at following up with our vendors and made sure everything I
ordered and planned for was
accounted for. Thanks to them, I didn't have to worry about the
timeline for the day,which is probably
the biggest relief I had planning the wedding because guest seating
arrangements alone gave me
a headache. They even helped me out and came to my wedding rehearsal
even though I know they should
only help me out on "the Day" itself. My wedding probably
was not perfect and I am sure there
were some problems along the way that day, but with CC&Co's help
all the imperfections were unnoticeable
and all I saw was this "dream wedding" I had planned all
along! Thanks again for being a

Like
many brides, I was very hands on, detail oriented and particular
about every aspect of planning my
wedding, but also wanted to be relaxed and actually enjoy my Big Day.
Enter Cristina
from CC&Co.
Prior to the wedding, she was just as detail oriented as myself in
becoming familiar with what
we had planned, following through with vendors, and making
suggestions to help make the day go
smoother. The day of my wedding, she made sure it all went off
without a hitch. It was so comforting
to know how well prepared Cristina
was. I didn't
have to worry about a thing. She also was
so friendly and sweet throughout the whole time we worked with her
(including a few minor freak
outs on my part), and she seemed genuinely happy for us. My husband
and I were relaxed throughout
the entire day, and had the best time at our wedding. This would not
have been possible with
out CC&Co.

Charisse
and Cristina
planned our
Twin's 1st Birthday Party (6/12/10) and were terrific.
Let
me start out by saying, I never write vendor reviews, anywhere, ever.
With that said, A Classic Celebration
knocked it out of the park for us and since I believe their rates to
be very fair, I feel compel
to spread the word.
From
day one, they were assertive, resourceful and cost efficient. We went
with the classic
Elmo theme
for the party and they filled in the details, many of which we our
guests told us about after the fact
because we didn't noticed some of the details that went into the
party at the time. For example, our
giveaway was a personalized backpack (C+C's idea) and they made thank
you tags with a note that
read "Thank you for coming. This party brought to you by the
letters J and S" J and S being the initials
of the twins. The backpack, the note, and the inserts were all
appropriately themed of course.
Vendor
management - again, C+C took care of the details. They contracted
with the various entertainers
(photobooth, balloon artists, characters, cake, selected candy corner
items) and negotiated rates
for us. C+C kept us focus and on-track. For better or for worse, my
husband takes a very laissez faire
approach to party planning, that is he leaves me to fill in the
details. C+C did most of the filing in
with me providing the final say.
Day
of - everything went off without a hitch. There weren't any
emergencies that had to be handled or fired
to be put out. Hats of for making this so seamless - had their been
an emergency, I have no doubt
it
would have been handled without my knowing about it. One thing that I
did see was that at one point,
we were off schedule a little bit and they put us right back on the
agenda. Trust me, herding my family
to take pictures is not an easy task.
Thank
you again C+C for making the day so special for us. Looking forward
to working with you again.
